"Decidiré"

Here I'm working on what the model is expressing. I think she is saying "I have decided" ("Decidiré") and I believe she is giving that expression in this painting. As you can see I try to keep it dramatic with the colors and values.
I have been working on these small paintings for awhile for my enjoyment and permanent work. I guess I'll never tire of all the possibilities that the female form has to offer. These paintings are not only keeping me in good shape to paint but also with all that is involved with the painting process. In all my work I try to have a meaning that the model can express. I have received some great comments but the ones I like the best are the ones that talk about the emotion the painting has for them.
