This was a painting that I enjoyed working on. The mood of the model and the costume worked very well. I think painting a model in costume has the advantage of setting a mood that the contemporary look sometimes can not.

The colorful costumes looks very "Indian" to me...we use a lot of colors and mirror work and accessories on our traditional costumes.The painting is very elegant, I like it.
