The model's eyes and gesture makes this painting.

She is staring at the viewer and is saying something,

and you can fill in your own opinion.

I try to remove as much of the small details when painting, but when it

comes to the eyes I paint what it takes to achieve as much

expression as I can.  I would like your comments on this painting.

I have never painted a small painting for as long as I did 

this one, nearly a week.  I repainted it three times before 

I was satisfied with it.  The reason is that here the model 

had a look that I needed to capture and I was not going to 

give up on it.  The attitude and expression was too good 

to miss in this painting.  Color was my biggest concern, 

than the expression of the eyes was next.  

Patience was the virtue this time.
